I tried to look at different start-up companies ( based on the VCs web sites) and tried to find out what the companies are working on . The focus was on information –all that people are trying to do around information. Some of the key areas that I could find are:
- Application which integrates information elements ( PLAXO / Trumba )
- Applications which provides a specific information – Widgets (micro-presentation)

- Information sharing
- Information creation by individuals – but in a team
- Networking at different possible levels

- Mobile search
- Web policing – both end user and services provider
